Dr. Tariq Shannies is a skilled General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with a strong academic and clinical background. He earned his MD from the Hashemite University and completed his residency training in General Surgery, achieving board certification from the Jordanian Board of General Surgery.

Dr. Shannies is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and an active participant in the international surgical community. He is also a member of the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA), where he played a key role as a co-founder of the Jordan chapter. Additionally, he serves as Jordan’s representative for the International Society of Laser Proctology (ISOLP).
