ABOUT THE UNIT
In and out the same day
Our surgical team carries out day-case procedures for adults — hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, lumps and lipomas, cysts and abscesses, piles and anal conditions — with the pre-operative assessment, laboratory tests and imaging done in the same building before the date is set.
Day-case means you are assessed, operated on and discharged home on the same day, with a review appointment already booked. The surgeon who consults with you is the surgeon who operates.
